The Feel Good Idea Of The Day: New Eyes

The voyage of discovery is not in seeking new landscapes but in having new eyes.
— Marcel Proust

Frost covers the trees and weeds, quite simply; it covers everything. As we look out upon the field, this sparkling gives us new eyes. With a background of white fog, our landscape takes on a spectrum of black and white.

It is not required of us to take leave for other climates; rather, only to stand and watch out the kitchen window for signs of subtle changes. Like Proust so wisely wrote: "The voyage of discovery is not in seeking new landscapes but in having new eyes."

If we stand and look out the window and let the transformation of the seasons wash over our eyes and bring new visions, we will be transformed. Quite effortlessly.
