The Feel Good Idea Of The Day: A Walk Down Liberty Street

For to be free is not merely to cast off one’s chains, but to live in a way that respects and enhances the freedom of others.
— Nelson Mandela

Somewhere on Liberty Street. Portland, Oregon.

My wish for us today is to take a walk down Liberty Street. For a moment may we each feel the freedom to act as we please, true to heart, true to our own beat. Sashay and step, rustle and swerve, open and close on our own accord. Too many have been the days I have felt tight and tied, skirted to the side or ignored. Liberty glows neon. Liberty glows pink in our hearts and the soles of our feet. Take a walk today, a walk down Liberty Street.
