I invite you to join me for a self-care foot ritual.
Rub your feet with lotion or oil, take time to rub the lotion on your lower legs and feel your muscles. Then put on your favorite warm socks. I have been doing this a few times a week, and it always feels like a special break during my day.
If you are already doing this self-care activity, I invite you to take a new focus when you do; a focus of pausing from the constant motion of life. Feel your hands on your feet and legs, give yourself a little extra time for this. Open to the mindset that this is a time "just for you." Feel the warmth of clean socks on your feet, ready to greet a new day. Or ready to jump into bed if you do this in the evening to wind down after a full day.
