When I have visited with friends the past few weeks, I have heard stories of nesting and preparing for winter.   Rolling up hoses, turning off water, finishing the siding project on the house, putting the big garden to bed, and canning fruits and veggies. Lots to do this time of year.  When I have this conversation with people, I sense a feeling of satisfaction beaming from them. It Feels Good to complete big projects.  It Feels Good to "nest" and have house and home taken care of.  With the weekend coming up, what chores can you complete to feel even more ready for Winter?  What can you finish that you have been wanting to do?  Soon we will be tucked in on the weekends or out doing Winter time activities like snow shoeing.  Even though I already have a busy weekend planned with my Family.  I hope on Sunday we will have time to pick apples and begin making canned apples, apple sauce and apple butter.  It is wonderful to be able to enjoy the delicious fruits in the Winter and Spring.  And Satisfying to feel taken care of and Nested.   The featured pictures show how we had our wheel barrow filled with gathered wood.  We got it all stacked up into our shed so that we can have fires in our fire pit this Fall.
